DAY 123 - 4 Month Mark
Not in my wildest dreams did I realize how long brain injuries take to heal. Today is the four month mark. Karson has come a long way in the healing process. He works so hard everyday to get better. I know that he knows everything that is going on around him and wants to heal. All your support has really made a difference in his getting this far. I want you all to know that our family truly appreciates everything. The lesson in life is to learn which we have been doing plenty of. I am grateful for this opportunity to learn and grow. Karson is strong and young which is what is going to get him through this. Love to ALL of you......

We know this week will be as great as last week and are so glad that Karson is so strong and is working so hard. It is so great that he has such a supportive, strong family to help him on his way to recovery. We stopped into see Karson on Sunday and were so happy to see him looking so good. We look forward to seeing Karson again and know that in the meantime there will be more progress. Thank you so much for the updates, we love you all.

Hello Karson, yes it has been 4 months, you have progressed well showing us promise, giving us faith. If it be another four months of steps to a healthy recovery, we are with you on every step. Healing takes time, keep the good effort daily, thinking every moment

Karson I love you buddy! Just keep fighting the same way you have been. You are one tough cookie. I don't think I could be as patient as you have been, but you have that magical Peterson DNA in you, and those beautiful eyes from your Grandpa King, And the most beautiful momma on the whole earth. God has truly blessed you Karson. He loves you beyond all imagination. His love brings tears to my eyes and peace to my soul. I will see you soon,

Dear Karson, Susan & Family: Our huge thanks to Susan for keeping us updated on Karson. Wow Buddy, what an amazing guy you are! Strength and determination beyond description. I'm sure four months seems like a very long time when you have been working as hard as you have, but when you think of the long and wonderful life you have ahead of you, this will all be worth it. Continual prayers go out for you, your family and your medical team. We think of each of you every day, and know that Heavenly Father is blessing you. Kars, you, as well as your mom and dad, are tremendous examples of trust, faith, and a willingness to submit to the Lord and His plan.
