DAY 115

Karson is doing incredible at the hospital. This certainly was a blessing to have him go there and be with all the specialists that they have there. Most of the people know us that are taking care of him so they give him so much extra attention. Thank you so much....all you doctors and nurses that give Karson so much of your time and expertise. Karson had his trache buttoned for over 10 hours yesterday and most of it was without oxygen. They are really pushing him to see actually how advanced he is in getting the trache removed. They are doing a swallow test today which will tell them a lot. It was so good to hear his voice all day long. You can tell that he is really working towards recovery. His Camp cousins came in to see him and he was really working hard to say something to them. His white blood count is in the normal range already. His neurologist has rights at the hospital so he was able to evaluate him yesterday morning before I got there and he tweaked his medications so they work better for Karson. I hoping that he can give him his botox shots in this fingers so that it isn't so painful for Karson when we straighten them during his physical therapy. Things are moving in the right direction. I was so excited last night I about couldn't sleep. Thank you, my dear sweet Father in Heaven, for giving us so many incredible blessings. Thank you all for your support, love and prayers. Our families love goes right back to you.

I also know that I have seen you when you were very alert and when you are not feeling sick from infections, you are amazingly awake and aware. I KNOW you will pull through this, and in the end it will just make you stronger. You are so determined! I LOVE to see that in you!!! You come from an amazing family, and have everything you need to recover. Hope to see you soon, Lynette
