DAY 113
Karson was moved over to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center yesterday because his infection has gotten much worse. His white blood count is twice what it should be. They are treating it with 4 different antibotics. The doctor said that they are treating it as septis because it was in the early stages. His chest x-ray came back better than the last time so it is healing but the urine sample they took and tested was really bad. Karson is getting very good care right now. He has every specialist that you could imagine taking care of him. I am hoping and praying that he makes progess while he is getting such great medical care. He did last 80 minutes on the speaking valve two days ago even when he didn't feel good. You can tell that he is really trying. He wants to make progress and move on with his life. Everything happens for a reason which I know he is where he needs to be right now. He is in room 266 on the east side of the hospital. Karson will probably stay there for at least a week so they can get everything under control. Thanks to all of you for your tons of support you have given all of us. MUCH LOVE......
