Monday - Day Three

This morning he looked 100 times better. He started producing urine which caused the swelling to go down and showed us that his kidneys are starting to work. He got another EEG done which showed more brain waves and no negative data, which is huge! His liver count went down which is also progress. His doctor came in to check if he was reacting to pain and he finally was. His eyes are dilating quicker which is also another good sign. The main doctor told us that this is going to be a long road but he has seen people come out of it. He also mentioned that he probably has another week or two in the ICU. Please feel free to comment on this blog and I will relay the message to him and the rest of our family! Thank you all for the love and support you have shown us.

    Good to hear of the improvement. Keep the faith. We have a dear friend who was comatose for two months. The doctors gave little hope. That was 10 years ago. He is now married and an inspiration to all. Miracles do happen.

I feel the only reason he did well on Monday was because of the fasting, the blessing, the prayers and all the love that was sent to him. He has a long road still to go.     Karissa thank you first off for creating this blog. I can't even tell you how I love getting updates, especially the good updates!!!! It brightens my day when great progress is made. You guys are amazing. Karson, you are an amazing person and have shown that to my family and I on more than one occasion. I still remember seeing you walk through the hospital door during one of our hard times and that still is a blessing to me in my life.     Dear Susan, Mike and family:
    There is a great hurt in my heart hearing this news. We all assume that we will all be alright and our friends are alright even though we don't talk often and it is not always the case! We will keep our eyes peeled daily on this blog (thank you Krisa.) You know that we love you guys, we go way back. You are in our prayers and thoughts. I wish there was something I could say or do to stop the pain but I know that isn't possible. I believe that love conquers all and goes beyond illness and harm.
