Karson has an infection so he is on 3 antibiotics to help him get over it. There is a number of things that could have caused the infection. We are waiting to get the culture back to see which antibiotics will help. He had a transfer date but since this happened he will be at this place for at least another 15 days. We are hoping he gets his trach out and starts following commands so he can stay in Utah county. If he doesn't then there are only two places that will take him. One is in Salt Lake and the other is in Ogden.
If you have been by to see him lately you probably have noticed a change. We noticed on Monday night that he was acting like he was in pain. He would open his mouth like he was screaming and nothing came out. He seems like he is a little more peaceful today. Thank you everyone for all the love. You have brought such light to a hard situation.

Mike and I want everyone to know that we truly appreciate all the love and support ALL of you have shown us and our family throughout this ordeal. We are learning a lot about things we would have never have had a chance to learn. Everything in life, happens for a reason. We all know this and are looking forward to the lesson that we are all going to get from this. Karson is a person who always enjoyed life to it's fullest so I know that he can make it through this to keep enjoying all that life has to bring. It is just like eatting a chocholate elephant, you do it bite by bite, and for you it is good health effort, day by day. Lots of sports going on now, the NBA and Hockey`s Stanley Cup, have not been following much of it, maybe later when they are into the final games. Spoke with Larry Linde the other day, he said you had some snow out there, not enough to stop the true golfers though. Just keep thinking all those good thoughts, like good health, spending time doing games and puzzles with family, swimming in your parents pool, and hanging with Jordan and your friends.
