Today they are going to put a screen on his trach so that when we hold up a certain devise we can hear his voice through it if he is trying to speak. The reason we are doing this is because we are hearing sounds out of his trach. His kidney levels came back normal for the third time. So his kidneys are stabilizing.
Now he will look you in the eye and then look away so we feel like he is tracking us, which is a purposeful sign. Even the nurses are really excited about his progress. He is moving so much that he tried to pull his trach out. So now he has to hold things in his hands so he doesn't pull things off. We are so blessed to have so many people that care. Thanks for everything.

ReplyDeleteWOW! Exciting news that Karson may be trying to talk. It sounds like he is trying to communicate and hears what is being said. Karson, keep pushing forward and giving it all you have. You will wake up and see you the smiling faces of your family and friends soon. My love to you and your family and friends. You have so much love and support, it is wonderful to see how many people are pulling for you.

Keep on fighting Karson!! You are making a GREAT progress!! Continue being the fighter that you are and BE STRONG!!
ReplyDeleteHey Buddy, you are an inspiration to all of us, with your fighting spirit and desire to overcome against incredibly difficult odds. Every experience in life is to teach us; sometimes the lessons are for us only, and other times they are to teach and touch all of us. You may not know it right now, but you are teaching and inspiring more lives than you can imagine. Bryan believes in you, as do we. Life is good and worth fighting for---you are proof of that! We love you and your wonderful family. We continue to pray for each one of you. We can hardly wait until Bry says, "I'm going to hang with Karson at his house tonight!!!" Carrie, David and Bryan Bolda :o)
ReplyDeleteWay to go Kars, keep progressing buddy, I know you can! You sure have a family that loves and adores you, as I know you do them! You have so many people pulling for you and praying for you! I know you can do this! Keep it up, everyday is one day closer to you waking up! Love you!
