Day 33

Today we got some good news, Karson will no longer be doing scheduled dialysis. They will test his numbers daily and if they get too high then they will perform dialysis. We are hoping this will wake him up faster because dialysis was so strenuous for him and wore him out. Also the head nurse told us that the next 30 days are going to tell us a lot. If he makes daily progression, it is a very good sign he will wake up. If he digresses or remains the same, the chances of him waking up are very low.

We all want everyone to know that the only way we have gotten through this is because of the amazing support system we have. Our message boxes are always full of wonderful encouraging messages! Thanks so much and we love you all.

  2. Hello Karson, happy to learn that you are free of needing the dialysis, small steps to a full recovery :] You have come a long way in a month, liver and kidneys are on the mend, in a great spot, close to home with family and friends close. You will make a full recovery, I believe in your recovery and so does everyone. We still have the puzzles up and complete, on board your Mom and Dad's boat, You, Jordan and Family all had a great time putting them togther. They are a happy reminder of your visit to Mexico. Spring is definitly here, days are longer and warmer, nights are still cool though. Remember, think health and talk with you soon. Bruce

  6. Hey Karson! Bryan stopped by to see you yesterday. He said you are really coming around, and he thinks it will only be a few more days until you're awake. He knows his best friend, and he knows how strong and determined you are. We are excited to hear how good you're doing. You keep fighting through this and Bryan will have his "pool playing" buddy back in no time. Hugs for you and your family! The Bolda's.

  10. Karson, It was so good to see you today and especially see how much you have improved since we saw you last. The news was great from the doctor today. So happy that your kidneys are working better. Now, you will improve even faster. Just keep working hard and follow those loving instructions from your mom and dad. I had a great time with your mom, sisters and those adorable little nieces and nephews today. They all love you so much. You have a very strong family, Karson, and they are behind you all the way. Praying for you always.
