DAY 20
We just want everyone to know that Karson is still in a very deep sleep. Yes he opens his eyes but he is not awake. In the movies you see someone in a coma and they wake up and everything is back to normal. That is not real life. We thought the same thing but it is a slow process. So when you visit him he won't respond cause he is still in a coma. It could be days, weeks, months or years before we see anything. We all hope sooner or later so he can start then healing process. There are a bunch of specialists working with him to get him back as much as possible. Thank you for all your love and support.

It was good to see Karson yesterday and visit with Susan. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.

Grandma and I went to the temple again today and while we were there we were praying for our sweet Karson and the Peterson family. We also put in all your names so every hour there are many people who are praying for you. All the Peterson family along with the King family include All of you in our prayers continually. That is a lot of people. Know that you are on our minds at all times. We send our love to each of you.

Thank You for the blog. Karson's well being is important to all of us who know him, it makes me feel that we are all apart of the healing process. He will recover, I believe this, we all do, and he will. Strength and patience for Karson's family, friends and caregivers. Karson be strong, you shall succeed and awaken from your sleep. ReplyDeleteI know someone who was in a bad car wreck and in a coma for several months. The doctors told her parents she would never be anything more than a vegetable. She proved them wrong! It was a long process, but she woke up, has made a FULL recovery, is happily married, and expecting her first child. Miracles can happen, so never give up hope! Karson is strong. He can do it! We love you guys!

I check this every night before going to bed and I forgot last night and guess what happened...I had a dream about Karson! Jordan was with him and all of the girls were there. He was in a baseball uniform with his long, curly hair under his hat :) ! I know this will be a reality soon (well...maybe not the baseball uniform)!!!

We are so loved and blessed to have all of you in our life. Our family and Karson feels your support everyday. My heart is filled with so much gratitude for the peace and comfort we have felt through this whole ordeal.
