Saturday - Day Eight
Today he had his eyes open for most of the day. The doctor said this is a very good sign but still not to expect too much. His liver gets better and better everyday but his kidneys are still having problems. Which is why he continues with dialysis. We put some tennis shoes on him today, in order to limit his chance of "drop foot". The hospital tries to not perform any tests on the weekends so a MRI is scheduled for next week.

What a difference a week makes, everyday has brought some better news. Thanks so much for the update. We are rooting for you Karson.

Sounds like he is making great progress. We are praying for you guys constantly. Thanks Karissa you are doing an awesome job, we check in everyday to see how things are going. Tell Karson he needs to hurry and get better the King Reunion is just around the corner and Karson and I are always paired up for horseshoes, and he doesn't care that I am terrible.
