Karson got his mouth piece on Thursday night at 6 and by 11 that night he broke it in half. We were all hoping that it would help so he would stop biting his lip but it didn't so his lip still looks really bad. A doctor came in and told us that it is very common for someone that has a brain injury.
He got his second happy haircut today. His hair grows like a weed so he looks ready for summer. When you go in his room please only speak positively. The same doctor that told us about the biting also told us that he is hearing everything but his brain will only pick up certain things. So the more positive the better.

Karson,
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see you today. Your hair looked great. You will be nice and cool now. Uncle David and I both thought you looked more relaxed and your lip looks like it is starting to heal. Keep fighting. We remember you in every prayer and blessing we give. XOXO.
We Love You,
Aunt Lana
Dear Karson,
ReplyDeleteIt is 3:00 in the morning, don't know why but I just wanted to see your handsome face on my new puter, bought specially so I could see your handsome face. I remember when I saw you last summer at your C store and I hadn't see you for years and you could hardly recognize me too. You have turned into such a gorgeous man. The man part was what made you look new to me. I love you and your family deeply. We have been together through thick and thin and for our part mostly thick. I will go to sleep now staring at your beautiful face and will hope that you are resting too. Love you lots. Rebecca ps my grandchildren have named me MaCa. Thats grandma and Rebecca shortened up you can call me that too.
Karson loves you all. You are what keep Karson and all his family going. Thanks for all your love and support. This has been a real trying time for our family and we know it is going to be awhile before things settle down. Knowing that you are all out there praying and thinking of us, makes it so much easier. Love to you ALL. Mike and Susan
ReplyDeleteKars, it was so great to see you this weekend. I'm sorry it took me so long. I sat quietly for a few minutes just watching you until you opened those big blue eyes and I couldn't help but stand by your bed and talk to you. Keep on pushing Karson. We will all continue to think about you every day. Love, Alli
ReplyDeleteHello Karson, Summer is on it's way, always good to have the blog to learn of your doings. As always and always remember ' We believe in you, have faith in yourself ', you will wake up and the world will be waiting for you. Day by day, think a healthy recovery, everyone who knows you and even people who only have heard of your present situation are thinking good mental and physical health for you.
ReplyDeleteIt is truly amazing, that when we all have one common thought of good health for someone, it becomes realized. A special thank you to all those who visit, help and prayer for Karson's well being.
Do take care of yourself Karson, do your best. Talk with you soon, Bruce
