DAY 25

Today Karson sat in the chair for 2 hours. He was really exhausted but he did it. My Aunt Julia came by and gave him a mint foot rub. My Mom said that he really enjoyed it and moved his feet the whole time. On command today he would squeeze my Moms hand. She said it took him a while and that she could tell he was trying really hard. His kidneys are doing a lot better so he only has dialysis every other day. We hope you enjoy the new pictures. When Shelby saw the one that he has straight hair she said" well he looks kind of dorky". I guess kids bring light to hard times. Love you all.

Shelby Lee knows when things don't look quite right....Kars doesn't look like himself without his curly hair, so we hope he keeps it that way.
The news today is very good and we're so happy that our precious boy is doing better each time we read the blogs. Thank you for keeping us all informed about Karson's progression. We love him and all of you so very much. Hang in there!!!

  7. Way to go Karson, dialysis every other day is great progress. You are awesome. Shelby is a cutie, kids have a way of telling it like it is don't they!! We all love your hair anyway you do it. Gen and his family were here for the weekend because we blessed the new babies. Titan said the blessing on the food Saturday night (which lasted for about a half hour)anyway he said "please bless Karson to get better soon so he can teach me how to play horse shoes at the family reunion like he did my mom". Natalie has told him how often her and Karson were partners and thats how she learned how to play horse shoes! Ya got to love the kids!!! We love you Karson. Mike and Susan Family, we love you all. Our thought and prayers continue to be with you always. You are all awesome. Thanks for keeping up the blog. It is a blessing to us to be able to read it every day. Keep up the good work Karson. Hang in there family, you have us all cheering for you.
    Love, Bruce and Val

  8. Yea!!! What progress he has made! It will take a few months but I think you'll see a slow recovery of abilities each week. Give him a hug from Aunt Cyndi and tell him to be patient. I love Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Love you!

  9. Just your OLD Aunt making another comment. You are probably getting so tired of me but I just what you and your family to know that we are thinking of you all the time. We are so pleased that you are making progress. Just take one step at a time. It may seem like a big task now but you can do it we know you can. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. We send our love to all of you.

  10. If Aunt Julia is giving pedicures and foot massages, I better head up there. :) Sounds like Karson is being treated good and doing well. It is so good to hear how is taking one step at a time. We still think about and pray for you Karson. Keep progressing and fighting, you know you can do it. That's so funny what Shelby said. We love you guys! Jace, Shelly and kids
